The Newcomer Settlement Program (NSP) supports newcomers, asylum seekers, and refugees in building a new life in Canada. Through culturally responsive services, the program offers settlement support, employment assistance, housing guidance, and information sessions on key topics like health care, legal rights, and financial literacy. By promoting self-reliance and working closely with community partners, NSP helps newcomers overcome challenges and thrive in their new communities.
ACS offers dynamic youth programs that support personal growth, leadership, and community engagement.

These programs empower youth to build confidence, develop skills, and connect with peers in a safe, inclusive environment.
The Women & Families Program supports the well-being of families by offering services tailored to women and family needs. It provides education on healthy living, parenting, cultural sharing, self-empowerment, and income security.
The program includes interactive group sessions, mutual support, opportunities, parenting programs, resource referrals, community activities, and volunteer engagement—fostering a strong and connected community.
The Community Wellness and Development Program supports the well-being of the Black community in Peel through health initiatives, mental health awareness, and access to resources.
It aims to reduce domestic violence, promote community engagement, enhance employment opportunities, and provide practical support to foster overall wellness and development.
The ACS Seniors Program supports Black/African seniors (55+) by reducing social isolation through culturally appropriate activities that promote health, well-being, and community connection.
Seniors enjoy games, Zumba, yoga, arts & crafts, tech workshops, lunches, trips, and celebrations. The program fosters empowerment, inclusion, and active living. During the pandemic, virtual sessions and weekly mentor check-ins continued to support mental, social, and emotional well-being.
ACS welcomes volunteers to support programs and operations in areas like tutoring, summer camps, seniors' tech support, fundraising, social media, website updates, and more.
Volunteers gain valuable skills, Canadian experience, and receive a Certificate of Volunteerism.
After 3 months, a reference letter may also be provided.
